    Im fairly new with CSS...Anyone Wanna Give Their 2 Cents?

    Hey there everyone im fairly new with CSS and i can get myself around with it but im running into a problem

    i have a set up of 2 columns and inside each column are various amounts of rows. Different amounts in each column and within the 2 main columns some rows are split into two more columns. hopefully your following me so far.

    basically the problem i am having is i was wondering mostly if there is a way to set a certian CSS box to the value of maybe 1 or 2 others so that they all line up at the bottom.

    also if you could

    my following code is not working

    {
    background-image: url(URL);
    background-repeat: repeat-y;
    }

    if you must look at the page let me know but the coding is so messed up right now you probably tear me apart

    anyway thanks everyone for reading and hopefully i can get an answer shortly

    any websites would be just as nice as an explination

    Not bad. Only thing I see is that you need to add padding and fix the scroll.

    alright i dont know what i am doing wrong but i cant get this code to work out for me and i believe i have everything in correctly but maybe there is an error some where else in the code?

    was wondering if anyone could help me out with this....

    what im trying to do is mostly get the two columns to line up....
    (#left and #right)

    another thing is that the image for #B1 isnt showing up where it has been placed but yet under the rest of the code

    i know this is probably something stupid but i just cant find it...

    thanks for taking your time to read this mess =p

    Code:
    <div id="container" style="overflow: hidden; width: 600px;">

    <div id="right" style="float: right; width:450px; ">
    This is the right sidebar where the content goes
    </div><!-- end right -->

    <div id="left" style="float: left; width: 150px;">
    This is the left side bar where the scroll thing goes
    </div><!-- end left -->

    </div><!-- end container -->
    Put right before left and wrap it in a container.
