    there are a few depricated tags in there, you could take the page to http://validator.w3.org/ and check for errors there, but you must first assign your page a document type declaration.
    and btw, the html is not a script, its a markup language.
    the only "scripts" are the mouseover functions. ect.

    actually i should say doctype declaration

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd">

    the key is the first word in caps DOCTYPE
    html is the root element
    public is the type of dtd
    then you need the identifier, thats in red
    finally the url of the dtd in blue

    note that its not a comment tag, and its an empty tag.
    it goes above your <html> tag
    it basically identifies your markup with a standard
    that way you can also use the w3 validator to check your page against the standard you specify
    it also tells the browser which type of language your using:

    Page online?

    Snakewithatilda,

    it seems the code snippet you pasted earlieron is incomplete; do you have that page somewhere online, and if so, could you supply a link to it so people can see it in a browser and go over the complete code? That would make error spotting a whole lot easier.

    Ronald.

    Which page?

    Yeah, fine, and which page did the code come from?
    Meanwhile, take care of closing all container elements with end tags, even if they're optional (there's no such thing as an optional end tag in XHTML), and check if you nest container elements in the proper way:

    <foo><bar>...</foo></bar> : wrong!

    <foo><bar>...</bar></foo> : right!

    This little jumble of end tags at the bottom of your code snippet is a perfect example of wrong nesting, and there may be more:

    </span>
    </tr>
    </table>
    </td>
    </span>
    </html>

    </body>

    Furthermore, for your own sake as well as others who are asked to look at your code: try clean it up and make it legible, make the structure of the page leap out, either by indenting or at least by grouping lines and separating groups with blank lines, etc.
    Regards,
    Ronald.
