    PHP UML help???

I am very familier with Java and UML. I am used to create all the designings before the development of a page. So it is more convenient me to design the behaviour of the s/w before devoloping the page and programming.

but when i am developing webpages i am not used to create in this manner. the case is at the begining itself I used just to develop but not to use any designation methods.

is there any methods for use UML or any other suitable designation stretegy with the PHP when developing web solutions....????

where can i learn them from???

    can any one help me??

if you are already familiar with Java and UML...the transition to design applications in UML for the purpose of designing PHP apps should be a smooth process.

PHP is both procedural and OO programming language....depending on your programming style...you could use either styles...or both at the same time.

Here are some websites that you should look at that demonstrate how you can apply UML when designing PHP apps.

    http://www.soe.ucsc.edu/classes/cmps...l-overview.pdf

    http://www.phppatterns.com/docs/desi...class_diagrams

    http://www.phpfreaks.com/tutorials/153/0.php

If you are using Linux...here is a tool that you can use
    http://uml.sourceforge.net/index.php

    Cheers
