opacity & FF padding
Here is the new layout I am working on. Just started and I have already ran into some problems. http://twodayslate.com/test/test2.php
For the transparent bar on top I want the text to not be transparent, just the background. Is there a way to do this without images?
Also for my footer, when I added padding it seems it also add height. I saw another thread that had the same problem a while back (way back) but I forgot how they fixed this and I lost the thread.
Thanks for your help, opinion on design welcome!

When you add padding to an element it counts towards overall height and width so if you want your footer to be 157px high with the top padding then you need to set the min-height of your footer to 37px. I've told you this before you should NOT set height and min-height in the same CSS declaration. IF you do the min-height will be ignored.
As to the opacity, Stu Nicholls seems to accomplish this. http://www.cssplay.co.uk/opacity/png.html
