    Modifying media=print styles

Is it possible to modify the print (only) styles from within a page? my users can easily modify the default displayed page for different accessibility criteria. I would like to do the same for the printed page. At present I have a fudge, whereby they flip to a 'printstyle' page (where selected printing styles can be applied) and then that page can be printed. Their preferences for screen and print are saved in a cookie.

If I could directly access the media=print styles then that would be so much easier.

The number of possible styles that the use might want to choose is too large to offer multiple print stylesheets.

I suggest that you use Javascript. CSS and HTML alone are not really meant to be dynamic.
