    Unhappy Help with removing css link decoration

    Hello everyone!
    I wanted to know if someone can please help me with CSS links.
    For a website, I wanted to make all the text links underline with a blue dashed. the CSS i used is this:

    a {
    font-family: verdanda, arial, sans-serif;
    font-size: 9pt;
    color: #000000;
    text-decoration: none;
    border-bottom-width: 1px;
    border-bottom-style: dashed;
    border-bottom-color: #00bff3
    }
    a:hover {
    color: #00bff3;
    }

    This code made all links underlined including images and lists
    I don't want images underlined. So i used this code.
    image a {
    text-decoration: none
    border-bottom-width: 0px;
    border-bottom-style: none;
    }
    image a:hover {
    text-decoration: none
    border-bottom-width: 0px;
    border-bottom-style: none;
    }

    However it did not work.
    Basically, I want all images and a few list not to underlined. I just don't know how to write that out. Help please!

    Change 'image' to 'img'.

    And if I'm not mistaken that 2nd CSS won't even work. How can a link be inside of an image?
