Yo Adrian Paulie's Got My Dummies Book

nice thoughts guys I can see I'm gonna get plenty of encouragement up in here...

Q: I wanna nest my layer in a table and have the scoll bar rest inside the table yet fix the layer to the table, like when I div=center the table, got it?

A: In other words, the darn layer is the problem not the solution. This is what I get for relying on Dreamweaver.

Why not create an iframe inside the table and set the scrolling to auto? (scrolling="auto")

    *quietly chants*notepad notepad notepad

    <table><tr><td>
    <iframe src="page.html"></iframe>
    </td></tr></table>
you can manage the width and height of an iframe, go inside the table and set a height/width for the table, then adding a 100% height/width for the iframe, that would cover the whole thing.
but iframe isnt supported by old browsers, if you care

Most likely the reason he has a problem is that the layer is displaying differently in different browsers... not because he wrote the code in Dreamweaver. A layer is a layer... but their positioning is always interpreted differently in different browsers. Thats not DW's fault.

Dont mean to get too defensive though... I know you were just messing around
