Exclamation Is there a better way?

I have, very largely due to the help of this site, tidied up my website.
One of my remaining goals is to refine the procedure for enlarging the initial index page randomly selected picture.

At present there is just a hyperlink to another html page suitably set up.
I feel that this is a bit clumsy.

Is there a way that I can just enlarge the picture without reloading a new page?

    Thanks.

Not with just XHTML. You would have to use some other language like Javascript or something.

Thank you very much, but I think my method is better. It is certainly seems much faster and less complicated.

    Try my site.

I should have said that I do not need to return to the original picture as the picture menu on the index page will enable access to all the jpegs.

However, the info will be valuable for some future project.
