    Weird CSS Overlap

    The URL: http://206.111.58.78/sprinkler-systems/?Brand=2

    You will notice in the left sidebar - simple text navigation. IT works great in IE6, firefox safari, opera etc... But for some reason it looks really bad in IE7 - it doesn't push the other text down below the UL? Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hello redrover,
    You have #subnav-left wrapped in <ul> tags. That's not the proper way to nest list items.
    Should be more like this:
    Code:
    <ul>
      <li>New Products</li>
      <li>Sprinkler Systems
            <ul>
              <li>New Products</li>
              <li>Timers</li>
              <li>Sprinklers</li>
              ...
            </ul>
      </li>
      <li>Drip Watering</li>
      <li>Hose Faucet Watering</li>
    ...
    </ul>
    The validator finds that and plenty more.
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
