Problem with site in NS 4.x

    Hi,

I'm building a website for a Marketing Association at my University. I've done almost all the graphics and I have structured them using tables. In IE the site looks exactly as it should, but when I view it in NS (4.x is the only one I have checked) there appears a white horizontal border of about 15px along the full width of the page. Somehow two tables don't match correctly.

Would anyone please take a look at the testpage of the website with NS? I hope that one of you can find out what is causing my problem and more important, how to fix it!

    Thank you in advance, Michiel

Netscape 4.x can be VERY picky about table cell width, etc.

Here's the quick and easy fix:

Add a 1x1 pixel transparent image (attached) and specify the width to that of the cell in which it resides.

    <TD valign="top" background="images/achtergrondlogo.gif" width="630"><IMG src="images/1x1.gif" width="630" height="1">

Not a major deal, but the cell next to this with your menu has the image 1 pixel too wide. I don't know that that hurts, but ... well, up to you to adjust, etc.

    <TD width="150" background="images/links.gif" valign="top"><IMG src="images/menu2.gif" width="151" height="238">
