    css menu blinks in firefox

    hello,
    I'm developing a css based site and in the process I've utilized a template from codesucks.comcodesucks.com
    and a css based menu from 13 styleshttp://www.13styles.com/css-menus/fox/.

    I've altered them to suit my layout and am encountering 2 problems.
    1. in Firefox the wrapper div doesn't extend to the bottom and encompass all of my divs.

    2. The menu blinks in Firefox.

    The site can be viewed here: http://www.ziasatreddoor.com/RDindex.htm

    any help is much appreciated. thanks.

    This is what you get from copying and pasting not knowing what does what. Use this for your footer code.
    Code:
    #footer      { color: #fffbd5; background-color: #d6ab76; background-image: url(images/bg_footer.jpg); background-repeat: repeat;padding: 20px 4px; width: 952px;border-top: 1px solid #51000a;clear:both; }
    You needed to clear your floats. This is done using clear:both; on a nonfloated block level element. As for your navigation blinking, umm, well you told it to, look
    Code:
    #foxmenu   { font-size: 1em; font-family: Arial, Verdana, Helvitica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: blink; display: block; position: relative; height: 24px }

    thank you. Hm, not sure how the blink decoration got in there; I assumed it was a glitch instead of that solution.

    Hello bz78,
    Looks like it's going to be a nice website, it's making me hungry.
    This fixes your wrapper:
    Code:
    #wrapper     {
    overflow: hidden;
    background-color: #fffbd5;
    background-image: url(images/bg_frame.jpg);
    background-repeat: repeat;
    margin: 0 auto 20px;
    width: 960px; height: auto;
    border-right: 1px solid #3a161a;
    border-bottom: 1px solid #693;
    border-left: 1px solid #3a161a }
    Read why that works here.
    and check the validator.
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
