    little (BULLET) formatting issue in Mozilla

    Please help me, i am facing a little formatting issue in Mozilla.

    here is the code

    Code:

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
    <title>Untitled Document</title>
    </head>

    <body>

    <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="1" border="2" width="100%">
       <tr height="23">
         <td rowspan="6" width="10">&nbsp;SPACE </td>
           <td align="left">
              <li type="disc">
    		   Browse All
    		   </li>
    	   </td>
        </tr>

        <tr bgcolor="#969696">
           <td> <img src="./images/spacer.gif" height="1" /><br /></td>
        </tr>

    </table>

    </body>
    </html>

    PROBLEM: please see the BULLET with BROWSE ALL text, in firefox the BULLET is displaying in left column instead of right.

    Please help

    I don't think you can make the bullet go on the right..

    PHP Tip: If you want to use short tags (<? or <?=$var) then make sure short_open_tag is set to "1". It really helps.

    LI tags can't go directly in a td cell. They must go inside of a list like ul or ol. The bullet is in the left side because of default margins and padding. Try this
    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    <title>Untitled Document</title>
    <style type="text/css">
    .mainTable {
    width:100%;
    }
    table tr.topbar {
    height:23px;
    }
    .botbar {
    background:#969696;
    }
    ul {
    margin:0;
    padding:0 0 0 20px;
    }
    .space {
    width:70px;
    text-align:center;
    }
    </style>
    </head>
    <body>
    <table class="mainTable" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="1" border="2">
    	<tr class="topbar">
    		<td rowspan="6" class="space" onClick="alert(this.offsetWidth)">SPACE</td>
    		<td><ul>
    				<li> Browse All </li>
    			</ul></td>
    	</tr>
    	<tr class="botbar">
    		<td>&nbsp;</td>
    	</tr>
    </table>
    </body>
    </html>
