    a geocites web page

    its a honour to be part of you site, keep up the good work

    I was wondering if you would think that playing with a geocites web page would be a good into to html

    Welcome.

    I would not recommend geocities to anybody for any reason. There's a better option for anything that you want to do. If you're trying to learn html, first go to w3schools and check out their tutorials.

    PHP Tip: If you want to use short tags (<? or <?=$var) then make sure short_open_tag is set to "1". It really helps.

    i would reccommend a book from the wrox series this one specifically

    I cound it very helpful, organized, and easy to use

    better organized than free online tutorials i've run into

    Where would you reccomend for building a free website using html coding "written by hand"

    I just thought id mention www.html.net its where i learnt css and it is a has a very good guide to html.
