    embed flash as background in external style sheet?

    I have been looking for a way to embed a flash object as a background for the header of my site directly into the external css style sheet.

    i currently use an animated gif image "header.gif" and need to replace it with "header.swf".

    Here is the css header section:

    #header {
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px 0 0 0px;
    background-color: inherit;
    background-image: url(header.gif);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    height: 310px;
    color: #ffffff;
    font-weight: bold;
    font-size: 0px;
    }

    Any ideas of a way to do this using valid markup?

    Cheers guys!

    Not using CSS. HTML yes
    Code:
    <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="header.swf" width="#" height="310">
    <param name="movie" value="header.swf">
    </object>

    cheers dude, but the main reason i wanted to place it in the css file itself is because i want to have multiple changing css files that change the whole design of the site, hence i would have multiple header images, like header2.swf, header3.swf, therefore if i put these into the html files the headers would not change.
