    Layering problem

    I have the following problem:

I have a vertical menu that opens a submenu to the right over another frame. When I click into the submenu on one of the links, the page in the right frame opens but the submenu is not visible anymore.

How can I solve this problem?

You will need to make another frame for the links to open in. Use the _target attribute to control the open location of the links.

    hi traceur,

Thanks for the reply. The links do open in another frame. It just happens that the layer of the submenu is over that other frame. And I think when the new link is opened the the submenu is underneath the new link.

    Cheers

    Frames

You cannot position content outside the boundaries of a frame; that is why the sub menus won't show.
Either consider stepping away from frames, or rethink the flyout menu.
