HTML encoding different in RHEL & FreeBSD?

    Hi,
Im facing a strange problem. A few special characters in some of my html pages like apostrophe, © hyphen etc are showing up perfect when placed on a FreeBSD server, but showing up as junk when placed in a particular set of RHEL 4.0 servers! otherwise, the same pages show fine in another set of Linux Servers! is it a server specific issue? does anything need to be done to correct it? I mean any particular variable or character set etc which could be changed?

    Thanks
    Naveen
