A middle image... Should I use 2 or three columns?

    Hi,

I am trying to do a page layout that will have a left title and a right content box... all 100% height on resize. But I want a graphic drop shadow on the left side of the content box- so between the title box and the content box. Like:

[TITLE BOX with a top to bottom gradient and a text page title](an image of a drop shadow with curves on top and bottom)[THE CONTENT PAGE with a solid background color and any images flowing in the content]

My question is about that middle section... It will be composed of a top corner, a middle shadow image that is stretch top to bottom, and a bottom corner.

Where and how do I do that? I think I need a third column box with these 3 images in it. Or can I put these images in the TITLE BOX or CONTENT BOX?

See a picture of the layout here:

    it would be full size
there is the header and footer also

    thanks

    Style hooks

    Maybe; maybe not.

It all depends on whether the markup you envision for this offers enough style "hooks" to attach background images to, and whether for instance the middle drop shadow lends itself for vertical tiling (it doesn't seem to, which unnecessarily complicates things).

It seems though that the top and bottom dark blue "bars" suggest header and footer, which could be used to tack the top and bottom rounded graphics to.
    Regards,
    Ronald.
