    Inputs in IE

Life would be SOOO much easier without Internet Explorer!

Some of the input fields on my page display with a yellow background in IE for PCs--not for Macs, not in FireFox or any other browser--just IE for PC. Also, the footer on my "Contact us" page isn't centering for some reason--it has the same exact code as the other pages, and reads off of the same style sheet. Any hints here? Thanks!

Problem A: Have Google Toolbar installed by chance?
Problem B: margin: … auto doesn’t work while Internet Explorer is in quirks mode. Putting anything besides an XML declaration above the document type declaration will trigger quirks mode in Internet Explorer 7. The XML declaration triggers quirks mode in Internet Explorer 6. Firefox is also in quirks mode, possibly for the same reason.
For every complex problem, there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
