Help with space above header image, and space in submenu.

    Hi all

I'm sorry if this has been posted before. I've already spent over an hour trying to figure it out. I'm still a newbie so please bear with me.

First, this is my site here.

I am having issues with two things.

The first is that I am trying to make the space above my header image smaller. So basically, the white space with the site title and tagline above it.

The second issue is that I'd like to get rid of the space next to the sub-menu - so if you over over "About", there drops down a submenu list that includes "About Me, Privacy Policy, Disclosures, Contact Me". There is excess black empty space next to each submenu item. I'd like to get rid of that.

    Thanks everyone!!

    Hi Jenny,

Do you think space between "Asian Candian in South Texas" and image?
For problem with sub-menu find .main-navigation .sub-menu li an declare margin-right: 0; , in your css file.

    Hi MrDuck

    Thanks for your reply!

Do you know if it's possible to just add a custom CSS? I'm using wordpress, and if I change the theme's css, it will revert back to normal when there is an update. I learned this the hard way lol

Sorry for late replay. Yes it's possible. You must make a Child theme form your Theme. You have a plugin for that so it is very easy. Plugin name is "Child Theme Configurator". You create a child theme, activate that child theme and then you work on child theme files.
