Help needed - Start/stop gif animation

    Hello everyone

I really hope somebody here can help me out with this problem.

I would like to be able to start a gif animation with a click on a button. The button is not supposed to be on the gif animation - the button and the gif animation should be separated.

To be more specific --> This is what I would like to do: Flyt dig!
You can click on "Forstyr ham" and then the animation starts.

PS. I'm new and I really don't understand much coding, so it would be appreciated if you explain everything or step by step.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi joac1424,

The image on Flyt dig! doesn't look like animated-GIF. It is played dynamically (with javascript / jQuery) using 4 static-GIF image files: flyt_flue1.gif, flyt_flue2.gif, ..., flyt_flue4.gif. If it were, we may start it (tricky), but I don't think we can stop the loop to a certain frame.

I think you may find some useful animation scripts in Javascript programming section. Or just ask there
