I work for an accounting firm and one of my duties is to update and maintain our website. When I first started here we had a very simple website which I taught myself how to edit and manipulate with HTML. We recently hired an outside web designer to revamp our website, and it is now a lot more complicated that it used to be. Every page has an html as well as a css page, rather than all php pages like we had before.
I would like to learn how to manage this website as well, but I was hoping to find some guidance on what it would take to do that. I found a few free online training sites (such as Codeacademy), and I have confidence that if I put my mind to it I can learn how to manage this website.
I guess my questions are - how long did it take you to learn css? And what is the best way of going about doing it? How much training will I need before I can manage a website created with CSS?
Also, I currently use Frontpage to edit webpages in. What is a good CSS editor?
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my questions!
