    Changing entry-content width to 960.. Did I do this right?

    I use the twenty-thirteen theme and never really have to deal with min/max width... I am trying to change my entry-content (all the "test" text) to 960px or around there and when I changed max-width it worked but I feel like I am doing this the wrong way.. Is this okay?
    Code:
    .entry-header,
    .entry-content,
    .entry-summary,
    .entry-meta {
    	margin: 0 auto;
    	max-width: 960px;
    	width: 100%;
    }

    This will keep the DIVs with these classes at or below 960px. They will shrink to almost nothing when the size of the browser is collapsed.

    So is this bad practice? Should I go about it another way?

    Bad practice? Don't think so.

    Ya but what did you mean by it will shrink to next to nothing when browser is collapsed? It resizes correctly when I change the size of the window...
