    How to make template for my website?

    I have a problem that I can't seem to figure out. It is probably not too hard, but I haven't found any answer to it so I figured I might try here. I know some basic html and css, but I would have to say I am a noob.

    The case:
    I am making a website with several pages, and wonder how to make a template. Like, how can I have one page where I insert all the objects that will be on each page? So when I update my site I only have to do it once, instead of on every single page.

    I know how to use CSS and link pages to a css-document, but I cant add html objects to it, can I? If so how.

    Thanks in advance

    This is the HTML syntax to include files:
    <!--#include virtual="folder/file.html" -->

    You could also do it server side. With PHP you'd use:
    include 'folder/file.php';
