Fixed positioning and percentages
Hi, I'm new to this forum and I've made my researches but could'nt find quite what I'm looking for. I have found a couple of topics on the subjet but am left with no define answer.
I would like to have a fixed header and footer, set with percentages (This part is working well) and a content div also set with percentages but not fixed, just integrated in the flow.
My first problem has been with ie7, which doesn't apply the top and bottom margins on the content div. Right now this has been fixed with a relative positioning with top percentage. (I might actually turn this into a ie7 fix only)
Just to make sure this is possible, here is the core code:
There is up to 10 articles within the section (acting as a wrapper), all aligned horizontally with a float and sized with percentages.
Thanks alot for your help, comments, tips and advices are much appreciated.

if im right your trying to get header and footer a fixed width and the content between the header and footer a non fixed width? all with percentages?
can i firstly ask you why don't you want the content to be fixed if your going to have the header and footer fixed?
sorry if i have misunderstood you.
