    Problem converting gif to an html

    I had a problem and im new at this.

    I got a gif image but the file type says = Photoshop.GIFFile.8
    and i dont know how to put it in html tag ive tried everything.


    Isnt it suppose to be this?
    <img src=spectrum intro_thumb.gif>?


    by the way this is the file name(spectrum intro_thumb)


    PLEASE HELP

    No it's not, you forgot to quote your src file name and close off the img tag:

    Code:
    <img src="spectrum intro_thumb.gif" />
    also why dont you close that spectrum/intro gap up by renaming the file or changing it to:

    Code:
    <img src="spectrum%20intro_thumb.gif" />
