inline frame breakouts
I would like to place a website inside an inline frame but when I click on certain links within the site (with target="_top") it breaks out of the inline frame - well, my inline frame is in the middle frame of a set of three my end.
Is there a way to force the inline frame to contain whatever happens the other end and not have it break out of my frames? The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits. (Albert Einstein)

I doubt that this is possible. You can’t edit a page in an inline frame from the containing document unless perhaps you control both the containing and framed documents. Allowing you to do otherwise would be a security issue for the framed Web site. I believe that someone asked the opposite of what you propose (forcing iframed links to open in a new window) and there weren’t any solutions.
For every complex problem, there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
