Deleting parts of a path in Illustrator

    Hi

I need to delete parts of some paths I have created so they fit exactly into the green background as you can see here www.covers.biz/images/head-office-map.gif, the page will need a logo above and text below the map, i just need to get rid of the path bits that stray over the green background, anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks!

All you have to do is create a clipping mask - create a blank path (use, say for example the box tool) around the green zone - with no stroke nor fill. Make sure that path you just made is in front. (If in CS2) go to Object - Clipping Mask - Make (CTRL + 7 in Windows).

That will trim your image down to the area within the object you made.
