    help a newbie - play sound when visitor clicks link

    hi,
    im pretty new at this and was hoping someone could guide me through adding a sound to an animated GIF......basically......i would like to show a TV..and briefly have some static on it with the sound that static makes.anyone help me?! many thanks in advance

    Pretty much the same question was asked in this thread.
    If I had to guess I'd say you would get millions of results if you do a search before asking... but maybe you did it already and nothing came up...

    hmmm i did a quick search for pictures + sound but never came up with anything that made me happy.
    the link seems to be more related to the sound being activated by the user mousing over an image. i'd like the sound to be linked to the image so it plays as the animated GIF plays.......thanks for your help......any other ideas>?

    Flash is my only idea as gif images can't have sound and you will never be able to control that when the image is playing the sound will start to play too.
    And always think of some fallback option for accessibility reasons.
