<video> element and video quality that will fit to smartphones?

    i don't like youtube...

i wanted to upload some videos to my site.
when i did uploaded .webm file with html 5 i got it sluggish on my smartphone (HD file)

let me know what are the solutions for playing html videos on smartphones

if i need a lower quality i guess Miro won't help in quality better than low and lower than HD.

i just want to upload recipes in videos which will be seen in reasonable quality...

Maybe your phone doesn't support hardware-accelerated WebM video? Try uploading it in H.264/MP4 format.
For every complex problem, there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
