PDFs loading black prior to scroll

I Googled for a while to find an answer before I registered here to post this question but couldn't find anything.

My problem is this: on my website I have a pdf that I link to (hosted on my own server) and every time I freshly load it in IE it loads as a black screen until I scroll down. I've checked on multiple computers and in multiple browsers. It happens on all computers but only in IE so I know it's an IE issue. I'm hoping there's some setting I can optimize in Acrobat.

My client base are mostly older folks who will most certainly be using IE and are the kind of people who wouldn't know what to do with it so I would like to figure something out about this. To see what I'm talking about click the bottom link on the right list (the one that says More) in Internet Explorer. http://glendalepainting.com/jobs/midhi/midhi.html

I hope I posted this in the right place. Thanks in advance.

You're using the latest version of Adobe Reader, right?
