Question Anyone know how to edit an .avi file's background?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here knows how to an edit an .avi file's background? I have this .avi file that has the same background color for every frame, and I want to change the color. Since I don't anything about the .avi format, I don't know if its actually a single setting in the .avi that causes the video to have a background color that will be visible in all frames if no frames take up the entire scene, by using something like the .fla and .swf flash file's "scene" color, or if its actually the color in every frame, but regardless, I need to know how to change it.

Also note that I have a .mov, .mpg, and a .flv of the same video, so if this is not possible in the .avi format, maybe it will be in one of the other formats?

    Thanks in advance.

go to www.videohelp.com 's tools dept and see if there's a color-correction tool you can use
there's probably a plugin for virtual dub, too
Zoobie or not Zoobie...That is the problem.
