    Multimedia Magazines

Can some of you recommend some of your favourite print magazines dealing with web design and multimedia. I've glanced through a few but nothing has caught my eye yet. I'm looking for something that discusses design tips, how to articles, reviews, etc on web stuff, 3D, Photoshop etc..

Any good online magazines people can recommend as well?

    Thanks.

Sorry -- don't know too many online magazines, but I can recommend some print ones that you can order and use? All of them are 3D and Photoshop based.

Computer Arts is a pretty decent site. It's both a print magazine and somewhat of an online magazine. They will post a lot of their tutorials from their magazine articles on the site, and they even provide some decent downloads.

I was actually once thinking about subscribing to this magazine but, it being in the UK and me being in the US, the fees where very high. The site is a good alternative.

Yikes, forums are almost too much fun.

Yeah I'm in Canada and it seems the magazines closest to what I want are about $18-20CDN and that adds up when subscribing.. You could buy a few books instead..

If purchasing magazines is a problem, I know in the US, every magazine that is artwork or computer related I write off for my taxes (use to do it back in high school for learning purposes) -- it is a business and learning expense.

I bring it up only so that it can help you purchase web and print design magazines that are useful, and receive a good amount back. That would save you cash and give you a useful flux of information that is fresh.

But, our brothers to the North may do things differently I do not know what your taxes entail...

Oh don't worry.. I'm writing off anything involving a computer!

yeah.. See I'd like to subscribe to a mag but I just want to pick the right one that will cover enough of what I want. If not I'll have to write off a couple subscriptions
