Downloaded Brushes Not Showing Up in PSP

    Hi!
I've downloaded some brushes that I'd like to use in PSP7, and I followed the installation directions: extract to the brushes folder and change the file extension to JBR if it's ABR, but they still don't show up in PSP. I've tried deleting the brushes cache, as well as putting the brushes in an alternate folder which I link to the brush tool through the "edit path" option, but I still haven't been able to get them to show up. If you have any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate them. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this, and have a lovely day!

Are you on a Mac or a PC? Do you know if the brushes were created for Photoshop 7 or under?

From what I know, the extension should be .abr at all times, and should be in the photoshop > Presets > brushes folder at all times.

I'm on a PC. I don't know what the brushes were created for, but I've downloaded brushes from several different sites, and none of them have worked. I don't have Photoshop, just PSP, that's why I changed the extension to "jbr" and put them in the brushes folder. Thanks for your help!

Ahhh... that would be because I was wondering why you spelled it PSP and not PSD (photoshop). Sorry, I don't use Paint Shop Pro

Would not be helpful in my line of work.
