Embedding multiple SWF files?
My question is about the possibility of preloading SWF files. I am working on my portfolio site, and one of the things I want to do is have SWF flipbooks of some of my work popup in lightwindow. That is all working fine...but I was wondering if there is a way to preload the SWF files in the background (like you can using CSS for images, but I know that that method won't work for SWFs)?
There is a bit of delay on loading the SWFs and I would like to cut that down, and preloading is the only method I can think of, but I just don't know how to do it for SWF files.
My page is here. If you click on any of the flipbook links, you see that they are working fine, but there is about a 3-4 second delay on loading them (this is after the circle loading image goes away).
Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have the original fla files for the flipbooks? If you do you can implement your own preloader. If not then you are out of luck as the preloader will be part of the swf not the html/js.
