Mint.com window gradient effect - how to do?

Is there a tutorial that explains how to create gradient effect around the main window in mint.com? Or just a general direction point?

I guess I would create t, b, l, r images with gradients that blend in with the bg color, place them in the bg and set them to be transparent?

    Thanks in advance.

Mint is using one big background image. You could make a top image, a bottom image, and then a middle image that repeats in the y direction. No transparency needed.
