Hi there.

Ok so here's the deal. We've developed a language learning software suite with Director. Now we're promoting the software by exporting one of the units to Shockwave .dcr and having people view it on the Web site.... no such luck yet. The unit has sections and each section is another .dcr file that gets called from the main file (esldemo.dcr). So I exported all the Director files to Shockwave movies (DCR) and put them in the same folder with their Xtras. Macromedia says you have to tell the main file (esldemo.dcr) that there are other files around and use an XML txt file to do so. I did. It looks a lot like this:

Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head><title>Shockwave Package XML</title></head>
<body bgcolor="white">

<package>
    <file>
        <url>http://www.solomonsunrisecreations.c...mo/esldemo.dcr</url>
        <size>2</size>
    </file>
    <file>
        <url>/esldemo/SoftIntro.dcr</url>
        <size>1738</size>
    </file>
    <file>
        <url>/esldemo/ESL%20Units%20Layout.dcr</url>
        <size>2142</size>
    </file>
    <file>
        <url>/esldemo/Body%20Parts%20and%20Sense%20Organs.dir</url>
        <size>7199</size>
    </file>

...

</package>

...
The HTML used in esldemo.htm (the HTML file that shows the movie is this :

Code:
<object classid="clsid:166B1BCA-3F9C-11CF-8075-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/director/sw.cab#version=8,5,1,0" ID=esldemo width=640 height=480>
<param name=src value="esldemo/esldemo.dcr">
<param name=swRemote value="
		swPackage='http://www.solomonsunrisecreations.com/package.txt'
		swPackageSize='14'
		swTotalSize='18543'
		swSendUrl='http://www.solomonsunrisecreations.com/esldemo2.htm'
		swSaveEnabled='true'
		swVolume='true'
		swRestart='true'
		swPausePlay='true'
		swFastForward='true'
		swContextMenu='true'
">
<param name=swStretchStyle value=none>
<PARAM NAME=bgColor VALUE=#000000>
<embed src="esldemo/esldemo.dcr" bgColor=#000000  width=640 height=480
swRemote="
		swPackage='http://www.solomonsunrisecreations.com/package.txt'
		swPackageSize='14'
		swTotalSize='18543'
		swSendUrl='http://www.solomonsunrisecreations.com/esldemo2.htm'
		swSaveEnabled='true'
		swVolume='true'
		swRestart='true'
		swPausePlay='true'
		swFastForward='true'
		swContextMenu='true'
"
swStretchStyle=none type="application/x-director" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/"></embed>
</object>

Here's the problem:
I have everything in place (I think) but the movie still won't play. It will play individual movies by themselves but the movies will not call eachother. I get an error every time that says "Unable to open file http://www.solomonsunrisecreations.c...demo/SoftIntro". Go and HERE and see for yourself.

The weird thing is that it works perfectly fine on my Windows computer. Once published to a Web server everything stops working. The Mac (OSX) doesn't like it locally either.

I have to admit that I'm the Web and graphics developer (not the Director programmer) I'm mostly a Flash programmer and that this is my 1st time with Shockwave.

SO
Please help me learn what I did wrong or if I need to get my Director programmer to add some funky code to each of the links where the movies call eachother.

I've done all they say to do at Macromedia. (I think.) here and here and here and here and finally here with no luck. I need some advice please.
