I loved the Classroom in a book textbook that I used. But does the Typographic Design book ask you to use CS3 to make image heavy things?

    If the Typographic book isn't image heavy, then d, a, b, c.

If the Typographic book is more for adding text to images, then maybe a, b, d, c.

In this order, in my opinion:

    c) Graphic Design Solutions, Third Edition (Paperback)
    by Robin Landa (Author)

    a) Adobe Photoshop CS3 Classroom in a Book (Classroom in a Book (Adobe)) by Adobe Creative Team (Paperback - 2 May 2007)

I concur with Millenia, although you might consider starting the design book and then reading a chapte in either the Photoshop or Illustrator books. In other words, read a little theory and then try to put that to work in the programs.

Well, you'll need to know the basic things in A in order to do the other stuff...
