un-installing Flash Player 9r115 doesnt work

    Hi

Has anyone else installed Flash Player 9r115 but then run into the getURL issue

    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforu...&enterthread=y

when running flash files locally, then after using adobe's uninstall_flash_player.exe and tried to install the previous version of flash it wont load as a plugin in ie6/7? Is there any way of brute force removing the 9r115 release from my system as i really need to be able to test my flash content locally.

    Thanks,
    Derek

Yes, I have tried this un-installer to no avail. It has worked for me on previous versions of flash when i have un-installed them to test local inavailablity of flash. Is there anywhere on the net to download previous versions of flash?

I have managed to get a previous version to work now after following these instructions and using the adobe un-installer:
