I have setup "No smoothing" , checked:"Sharpen color edges", unchecked:"Progressive browser display", matte: white , well these settings are correct, about, for photos 500x400 of an online Photo store ?

when I choose "jpg-better quality" ALL these settings are auto rearranged and DO NOT need to modify ?

Umm, not sure what the question is but "JPEG-Better Quality" is a preset, so if you changed any settings it will overwrite them with the settings for this preset. If you have special needs, make a new preset with your settings. Presets affect all of the properties during export preview except perhaps the resize attributes.
