    Completely different color

    hello,

    Am using Photoshop CS2 .. grey is selected as foreground color and image is blue color... every layer is separated ... I want to change the color but its showing me completely different color...

    any idea ??? where am going wrong...

    any help will be appreciated.

    What do you mean by "the image is blue colored?" Can you be more specific, or maybe show us a screen shot of your picture with the menus?

    Are you working with an RGB or grayscale image?

    thanks for your reply, after spending 10 mins on Photoshop ... luckily I solved the problem myself...

    mode was changed ... i donno wht happen ... i havnt change ne default settings .. all i did... change 'mode option' back to 'normal' and it was working fine after tht ...

    photoshop has lots of shortcuts, I'm always switching to cymk instead of rgb when I'm trying to undo or redo - I'm not sure exactly, but one slip of the finger can do unexpected things

    Yeah, the keyboard shortcuts are great... until you accidently hit something when you're not aware of it. Glad you got it sorted out.
