    MPEG Compression

    Hi guys,

Don't know if this is the right forum but I'll ask here anyway.
I have an MPEG movie - 116MB in size that I intent to place on a website eventually using flash video. Does anyone know of any (free or trial) software that would allow me to edit/compress an mpeg?

    Thanks for any responses.

Converting it to Flash Video alone will compress it by about 30%.

Aero: Thanks for the reply. The file would still come in at about 70MB after flash video conversion. I was hoping to get the file size reduced considerably before using Flash Video.

I'll try a few other things and if I have any success I'll post back here.

Did a couple of searches and came up with 2:

    easywebvideo
    avs4you.com

I didn't like the look of the guy in the first video so I went for the second one good price too $59 for unlimited access especially with the pound/dollar rate at the minute. have compressed the mpeg and am now importing it into flash to create a flash movie.

Will post the address when it is complete.
