    Search Engine for website

Are there any good free apps, or cheap shareware that I could use... I'd like to integrate a search engine into a relatively small site I'm working on.

phpdig. Be aware though that the only support you're likely to get is from searching their forum. There isn't very much active participation in their forum these days. Still, it's a pretty easy search engine to setup and administer, provided you read the documentation prior to doing so.

    http://www.cs.ioc.ee/~ando/sphider/

sphider is a light weight search engine which can handle upto 1gb database (tested) i havn't run anymore than 50 000 links indexed but it runs pretty fast. indexing service works well.
