Page redirection based on user-entered date

    Hello,

I'm a relative novice at this and would like some help. What I want to do is have an index page that requests a user enter a date (be it either one field or three, month, day, year). Based on the date entered, it takes you to one page or another. There would only be one correct date that takes you to a specific page. Entering any other date would go to a different page. Can this be done easily with little headache?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could do it with javascript or a server side language. The latter might be the better idea since then it will work regardless if the user has javascript turned on or not and it would be more secure. E.g. they couldn't view the source to see the correct date to enter.

    Thank you.

I don't know how to do any of this. I can't say I really care if people can figure out the date in the code either. What I am really looking for is the sample code I could cut and paste onto my page.

    Thanks!
