    image resize

    Hallo everybody out there,
    i've got a problem of how do i resize my image this is my images

    when i want to have height="200"and width="550"to border="0"i cant see the image proper,what i have to do to solve this problem,please help,

    also this to width=600 height=400

    Use a photo editor?

    If you don't have one I guess you could download the Gimp which is open source.

    I think you're referring to shrinking an image by forcing it smaller with
    the <img> tag. This causes terrible rendering. Like Mark says, use a
    photo editor to make it smaller. Or, to be more specific, make two images.

    One is the full-size and one is a smaller (or thumbnail) version. Upload both
    of them, each one has a different filename and use the thumbnail for the
    link, when clicked, will display the full-size image.

    For more advanced designers:
    If you have any server-side programming experience, you could use an
    automatic image manipulation tool offered by most webhosts, called
    "imagemagick" ... this automatically resizes image on-the-fly. Somewhat
    more advanced, but is nice to create thumbnails with only one uploaded
    image.
