    Help With Website Building

Alright can someone help me. I'm a newbie. I made a website for my moms company. www.reliacare.org and when you zoom with internet explorer ctrl mouse scroll and you make the text bigger, when the text doens't fit in the table it screws up my whole template. I am using frontpage and can someone tell me how i can make the template grow when someone makes the text bigger or make the table and template extend. Thank you!

    Hi, and welcome to codingforums!

We're glad you have brought your questions here, and would love to answer them, but we would appreciate if you read the Rules and Posting Guidelines prior to posting. Your question would be better placed in the HTML/CSS forum.

    Thanks, Dan

    Bulletproof web sites

There's no really easy answer to this one, since someone like Dan Cederholm managed to write a complete book about the subject (highly recommended, by the way!).

In a nutshell: don't use tables for layout, don't slice-n-dice your imagery to fit into numerous little table cells; instead, use semantic markup, and CSS for your styling and background images.
I realize that's not helping you one little bit, but considering Dan needs a book to describe what you need to do you can't really expect me to do it in just a little post, can you?
    Regards,
    Ronald.

I learned everything I know on FrontPage which (given that it's FronPage) probably isnt much and only recently in the last few months started to move on but I might be able to help you with your boarders breaking up when zooming although this will not work on all browsers.

    Dont Blink....

Your main body there looks to be about 450px or 500px wide so you will need an image to go in the cell background which we will come to in a sec.

First, go into the cell properties for that main cell, click the STYLE button at the bottom of the box that appears and select BOARDERS. Create a 25px boarder on the left and a 10px boarder on the right.

Next, make a simple 2 colour image (exactly the same width or slightly longer as that main cell). The left colour will only be approx 15px wide and the rest of the image will be a different colour. The example shown at the bottom of this post is 500x25px, it might be ok for you to use as a test.

You can position the text to appear just inside the grey section making the blue section appear as a boarder (by using the cell properties/style/boarders thing). When you insert this image as the cell background, it will continuously stretch downwards regardless of the cell height creating a continuous boarder. TADAAAAAAAA

There may be flaws other than some browsers not displaying cell backgrounds but I am sure somebody more knowledgable than me will let you know.

Also, use a standard font on your site, Arial is normally good

I know I have been babbling, excuse me, I'm going now....

    Example Cell Background:
