    What Exactly?

Hi guys. I hope you can help me with this one, because it seems really simple. So i really hope you would take the time to post here in case you know the answer

I'm trying to install a topsite right now. In the readme file, it says:
    Quick Install:
    ----------------------------------------
[1] Unpack the distribution and make sure you keep the file-structure
[2] Create MySQL database for phpFaber TopSites FREE (e.g. topsites)
[3] Open your browser and type the topsite's URL there.
[4] All other steps you will see there.

Very very simple. I did the first one. But I am stuck with the 2nd one. I'm afraid I don't know what that means.

I have all my MySql info, etc. But what does it mean to "create mysql database for topsite".. how do i do that?

This probably sounds very pathetic, but it would really mean a lot, and would save me a whole lot of headache if someone kind enough could just clue me in here.

I haven't tried using MySql yet, and all that stuff, but I'm not a hard one to teach. thank you.

This should be asked in the MySQL forum.

Do you know if your host supports MySQL and do you have permissions to create databases?

If "yes" do they provide a MySQL client administation like phpMyAdmin?

if "no" go download phpMyAdmin put it on your website and it should be easy to figure out from there.

Check documentation... check documentation again and actually read it..do it... doesn't work ask.

Are you trying to install this on your computer or onto your site which is hosted by someone else?

Do they provide you an interface for managing your mysql database? Like phpmyadmin? Some hosts have it setup so you first create the database through what ever control panel they use to let you manage the settings for your site. Have you tried looking around there for a section on "MySQL"?
