    777 permissions

    I'm not new to ftp, and not really to new to websites, but when I try to change the permissions it says 'SITE CHMOD 777 themes': command not understood'

    if he was doing it correctly, then there is a problem with Smartftp or the server...WS_FTP Pro and Filezilla are extremley good

    And I assume the server is one that supports CHMOD? As far as I know you can't do CHMOD on Windows, if that is what your server is running, that might be the problem.
