Possible Server Configuration Issue
I have my website set up on a server to receive POST requests from another server... the requests contain several lines of data with text only information. My server was receiving data correctly for a few months and as I am receiving more data there seem to be delays in the posting requests. I have spoken with my hosting provider and they can find no issues with the sever, they also informed me that I am only using 20% of the available memory/bandwidth for the server. It is a MySQL database set up on Apache and I have modified the software to InnoDB with row level locking. What other settings could I possibly modify to fix the delays? Thanks
FYI... the delays are typically 4 minutes long which is a large amount of time for the data, BUT when I receive postings the server processes them extremely quickly with no errors.
