Post Making my first interactive web page

Hi, Im new here, so I dont know if this is the right place to post this.

I was offered to make a forum typish website, since I have never done this I was wondering can I learn required languages in couple weeks since with html5 and css3 its possible even in couple days (learn basics and google everything you need)?

I suppose those languages are JS and mysql? I really dont know, it would be wonderful if you gave me some pointers.

    Thanks.

Really? I don't think you realize what is involved in making a "forum typish website".

PHP, MySQLi, javascripting/JQuery/AJAX, all of the necessary security needed, the user interfaces, the admin interfaces.

You're best off installing a forum already created ... like vBulletin (this forum software), or Vanilla2, or something.

If you are a programmer already experienced with C++, Perl, or some other language, learning PHP might come easier to you. But otherwise, I would say the answer to your question is no, you won't learn it in a couple of weeks.
