    Some bootstrap nav issues.

    So I'm trying to create a navigation from Twitter Bootstrap that adjusts for mobile. Simply put it isn't appearing in my browser like it is supposed to. I was wondering if I was just making a mistake in the input so I simply coppied and pasted their example on this page but it looks like this on my page.

    It says it requires the collapse plugin so I made sure that was included my my bootstrap and it is. Anybody else come across the same problem? Any solutions?

    The markup of your navigation is just
    Code:
    <nav>
            <ul>
                <li><a href="#">Home</a></li>
                <li><a href="#">Lucid Dreaming</a></li>
                <li><a href="#">About Us</a></li>
                <li><a href="#">Contact</a></li>
            </ul>
        </nav>
    where as in the original example, it's like below.
    Code:
    <nav class="collapse navbar-collapse bs-navbar-collapse" role="navigation">
          <ul class="nav navbar-nav">
            <li>
              <a href="../getting-started">Getting started</a>
            </li>
            <li>
              <a href="../css">CSS</a>
            </li>
            <li class="active">
              <a href="../components">Components</a>
            </li>
            <li>
              <a href="../javascript">JavaScript</a>
            </li>
            <li>
              <a href="../customize">Customize</a>
            </li>
          </ul>
          <ul class="nav navbar-nav navbar-right">
            <li>
              <a href="../about">About</a>
            </li>
          </ul>
        </nav>

    Thank you for your response. The answer though is that I gave up and changed to a basic nav because I didn't get a response in time. Thanks though.
